Yesterday evening my wife and I enjoyed a rare night out on the town, and started it out with sushi at Akai Hanna in Carrboro NC. As I paid the bill, Krista utilized the text, email, phone and Facebook capabilities of her IPhone 3G to track down anyone we knew within a 10 block radius for an after dinner drink.
The IPhone, which has been in her possession since the first day they went on sale, has been a constant companion, breaking down technological boundaries she did not even realize existed. If Apple reads blogs, you guys should hire her in the sales department, she’s already sold dozens in the environs of our friends and family.
The dress, which she paired with Converse Chuck Taylor’s, was free from a friend thinning her closet ( a source of many of Krista’s wardrobe. It almost, just for a minute, makes me think there was some redeeming value in the 1980’s.
